JSON, AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap
I built this website for SonovaStitch, a growing business specializing in downloadable cross stitch patterns and kits. They describe their cross stitches as nerdy, snarky, and post-modern. I chose a color palette of grays with reds and pinks--a visual blending of the classic NES game system and your grandma’s rose-embroidered hankie. The website I created uses Bootstrap for responsiveness, and jQuery and AJAX to read in the data from JSON files and dynamically create the item pages. This was a perfect solution for a growing company that is constantly adding and removing items from their inventory. It’s simple to go in and edit the JSON.
